We will still have handicap parking on the Fair side of River Road from the main gate to the 4-H gate along the chain link fence.
2016 Fair Premium Book has been updated and is now available
For our visitors – dogs are not allowed on the fair’s midways. There are no exceptions to this rule. If you bring your dog onto the grassy midways, you’ll be asked to take your pet back to your vehicle.
Like last year, we will be offering a special package to rodeo fans.

Welcome to the Sanders County Fairgrounds located just outside of Plains, Montana in the beautiful Clark Fork River Valley. Our northerly flowing river keeps things rather clement for this part of the country. The fairgrounds are situated on the banks of the river and there are picnic areas, camping areas and river access under the shade of cottonwoods. Sign posts in town on Highway 200 point the way west of town and over the bridge. With 1940’s style exhibit barns, a well maintained arena and a family oriented carnival, the Sanders County Fair is one of the showcases of our community. The grounds also host a number of other events throughout the year, both public and private.
