Fair Exhibits for Open Class Competition

As earnest fair goers know, a central part of any regional fair is the many exhibits entered by residents within the fair's region. Sanders County Fair accepts entries from Sanders, Flathead, Lake, Lincoln, Mineral, and Missoula counties (Montana). Each fair season gives us a fresh look at the many talentsof amateurs and professionals alike hidden in the hills of western Montana. Exhibit entries usually exceed 3,500 to 4,000 individal items or projects. Blue ribbon winners from the 4-H competitions are premitted to enter their exhibit in the open class departments.

Pre-registration will open for the 2011 Sanders County Fair on August 1, 2011. If you have any questions, contact the fair office at 406-826-3202.

Due to the large number of entires, Sanders County now requires that all entries be pre-registered. An entry form (in Adobe format) is provided on this site for the convenience of fair exhibitors. For entries submitted using a paper entry form, pre-registration closes at 4:00 PM August 17, 2011. Our staff must have time to enter the exhibits prior to our deadlines to deliver tags to deparment supervisors. If the entires are submitted online, pre-registration closes at 4:00 PM August 24, 2011. Exhibitors must check the Department Rules for each department for the correct deadlines for each department. Department rules can be found in the Premium book printed each year or as part of the online premium book set up for each department. Department rules, exhibit hints and exhibit classes accepted may be accessed through the "Exhibits" page. All documents are in Adobe format.
